RED 2

Red 2 is a 2013 American action comedy film and a sequel to Red (2010). Directed by Dean Parisot from a screenplay by Jon and Erich Hoeber, it is based on the comic book series of the same name by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, published under DC Comics. The ensemble cast includes Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Lee Byung-hun.

The story follows retired CIA agent Frank Moses, who, amid rumors that his friend Marvin Boggs has been killed, is approached by FBI agents seeking information about a nuclear weapon that vanished twenty-five years earlier. Persuaded to investigate the operation known as Nightshade, the veteran agents embark on a hunt across Europe while facing dangerous terrorists and assassins. Released in the United States on July 19, 2013 by Summit Entertainment, the film received generally mixed reviews from critics.
