Parc

"Parc" is a 2008 French drama film written and directed by Arnaud des Pallières. Adapted from American author John Cheever’s 1969 novel "Bullet Park", the film relocates the story from America to France, with much of the shooting done on the French Riviera around Nice. Produced by Les Films d’ici, it runs 109 minutes and is in French.

The story follows Georges Clou, a successful sales representative living in an exclusive gated community, whose seemingly perfect life of prosperity is shaken when his path crosses that of Paul Marteau, a man with a troubled past who moves into the same estate. Sergi López, Jean-Marc Barr and Geraldine Chaplin star, alongside Nathalie Richard. The film had its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 11 September 2008.
