Matrimoni e altri disastri (also released as Weddings and Other Disasters) is a 2010 Italian comedy written and directed by Nina Di Majo. Built around the world of wedding celebrations and the people caught up in them, the film takes a humorous look at love, relationships and the chaos that surrounds the institution of marriage. Margherita Buy leads an ensemble that also includes Fabio Volo, Francesca Inaudi, Luciana Littizzetto, Marisa Berenson and Turkish actor Mehmet Günsür. Di Majo co-wrote the screenplay with Francesco Bruni. Running about 102 minutes and shot in Italian, the film received two Silver Ribbon nominations: one for best actress for Buy and one for best supporting actress for Littizzetto.
