Marienhof

Marienhof is a long-running German television series that began on 1 October 1992 and ended on 15 June 2011. Produced by Bavaria Film, it aired daily in ARD's early-evening slot as a soap opera chronicling the everyday lives of ordinary people in a fictional district of Köln. Neighbourly ties, family conflicts, romances and a small-town, lower-middle-class milieu lie at the heart of the show. Broadcast for nearly two decades, its large cast over the years included Özgür Özata.
