La víctima número 8

La víctima número 8 is a 2018 Spanish thriller series created by Sara Antuña and Marc Cistaré. Consisting of a single season of eight episodes, it aired from 10 October to 28 November 2018 simultaneously on ETB 2 and Telemadrid. The series was directed by Alejandro Bazzano and was co-produced by Mediapro, through its companies K2000 and Globomedia, together with ETB and Telemadrid. The events take place in the Old Town of Bilbao and centre on an attack in which seven people are killed and many more are injured, and on the police investigation that tries to find those responsible. The story was inspired by the August 2017 Barcelona attacks. It stars César Mateo, María de Nati and Verónika Moral. The series was released worldwide on Netflix on 16 August 2019.
