Coffee Shop Beauty (Kahveci Güzeli) (translated)

Kahveci Güzeli is a 1941 Turkish drama film directed by Muhsin Ertuğrul from a screenplay by Nâzım Hikmet and produced at the İpek Film studios.

The story centers on a coffeehouse that is about to shut down for want of customers. When Tekin and Keloğlan begin working there, the place comes back to life. Tekin, famed for his fine voice and handsome looks, becomes so admired that even the Sultan of Kafdağı wishes to offer him his daughter, yet Tekin's heart is set on Zeynep.

Münir Nurettin Selçuk stars as Tekin, alongside Nevin Seval, Nezihe Becerikli, Hâzım Körmükçü, Behzat Butak and Talat Artemel. Sâdeddin Kaynak served as music director, and the film's songs were performed by Münir Nurettin Selçuk together with Müzeyyen Senar.
