Ibish's Dream (İbiş'in Rüyası) (translated)

İbiş'in Rüyası is a Turkish drama series that aired on TRT 1 in 1979. Directed by Sırrı Gültekin, the production was adapted for television from Tarık Buğra's work of the same name, and in this respect it is counted among the period's examples of Turkish literature brought to the small screen.

The cast featured Münir Özkul, one of the master actors of Turkish cinema and theatre. Reaching audiences during the years when TRT was the country's single television channel, the series stands out as part of the domestic television production of the late 1970s, a time when literary adaptations held a prominent place on screen.
