Four Lives

Four Lives is a three-part British television drama that aired on BBC One from 3 to 5 January 2022. Falling in the drama and crime genres, it was originally and internationally titled The Barking Murders. The series is based on real events and sets out to tell the story beyond the headlines.

The narrative follows the families and friends of four young men killed by the serial killer Stephen Port in 2014 and 2015. Working tirelessly to learn what happened to their lost sons and brothers, they pursue justice in the face of a police investigation now widely criticised. The drama focuses on this fight by the families against the Metropolitan Police's failings.

Stephen Merchant plays Port, and Sheridan Smith appears as Sarah Sak, mother of the first victim. The cast also includes Samuel Barnett, Robert Emms, Michael Jibson, Memet Ali Alabora, Daniel Ryan and Rufus Jones.
