Fanfan

Fanfan is a 1993 French romantic comedy written and directed by Alexandre Jardin. In some markets it was shown as Fanfan & Alexandre, and in Russia it was released as Аромат любви Фанфан. Combining comedy, romance and melodrama, the French-language film runs about 89 minutes. Sophie Marceau and Vincent Perez share the lead roles.

It is based on Jardin's own best-selling 1990 novel, translated into almost two dozen languages, so the director adapted his book to the screen himself. The novel appeared in Bulgarian in 1991. The cast also includes Marine Delterme, Bruno Todeschini, Micheline Presle, Thierry Lhermitte, Ariele Séménoff, Gérard Séty and Marcel Maréchal. Gaumont and Canal+ are among the producers.
