EGO (EGO (dizi))

EGO is a Turkish drama series produced by Pastel Film that premiered on NOW on February 5, 2023. Directed by Doğa Can Anafarta, it is an adaptation of the 2014 South Korean series Temptation, with a screenplay written by a team including Gülsev Karagöz, Ahmet Orçun Okşar, Zafer Özer Çetinel, Görkem Tüzün, Okan Başar Bahar, Erkan Birgören and Elif Tuna Kıygı.

The story follows the engaged couple Elif and Erhan, whose dream of a happy marriage is shattered when Erhan falls into a nearly unpayable debt after a business trip; an offer from his boss Sibel then changes their lives forever. Starring Alperen Duymaz and Melisa Aslı Pamuk, the series ran for a single season of 13 episodes and ended on May 21, 2023, also reaching international audiences through channels such as Zee Aflam and bTV Story.
