Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin

Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin is a 1991 Hindi-language Indian romantic comedy directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Gulshan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. Written by Robin Bhatt and Sharad Joshi, the film draws its inspiration from the 1934 Hollywood classic It Happened One Night and was made under the banners of Vishesh Films and Film City. Its soundtrack, composed by the duo Nadeem-Shravan, was widely praised.

Aamir Khan stars alongside Pooja Bhatt, the director's daughter, in her first major leading role, while Anupam Kher and Tiku Talsania play supporting parts and Deepak Tijori appears in a special cameo. The story follows a wealthy young woman who runs away from home and falls for the young journalist who helps her along the journey. A box office success, the film earned six nominations at the 37th Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor, and won Best Female Playback Singer.
