Push (Darbe)

Push, known in Turkey as Darbe, is a 2009 American science fiction action-thriller directed by Paul McGuigan from a screenplay by David Bourla. Produced by Summit Entertainment and Icon Productions, the film was released in the United States on February 6, 2009, and tells a story set largely in Hong Kong.

In the film's world, secret government units established after World War II have been recruiting people with psychic abilities to turn them into super soldiers. Nick Gant, a telekinetic whose father was killed by the agency's agents, hides in Hong Kong. When Cassie Holmes, a young girl who can sketch visions of the future, shows up at his door, Nick is drawn into a hunt for Kira, the only person to survive an experimental power-enhancing drug. Together with their allies, they must combine abilities such as mind manipulation and memory erasure to fight both government agents and a gang chasing the same drug.

The film stars Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, and Djimon Hounsou. Made on a budget of about $38 million, it grossed $48.9 million worldwide while receiving mostly negative reviews from critics.
