Casanova

Casanova is a 1987 biographical romantic comedy made for television, directed by Simon Langton and written by George MacDonald Fraser. The film recounts episodes from the life of Giacomo Casanova, the notorious 18th-century Venetian adventurer and lover, following his many romances and escapades across the Europe of his era. Richard Chamberlain stars in the title role, with Faye Dunaway, Sylvia Kristel, Ornella Muti and Hanna Schygulla among the principal cast, while Michel Legrand composed the score.
