Bir Dilek Tut

Bir Dilek Tut is a Turkish family film shot in Mardin in 2020 and released in cinemas in 2022. It follows a young boy whose happy world is turned upside down when he learns that his family is about to move to İstanbul. Unwilling to leave behind his friends and the rowing team he loves, he searches for a way to stop the move and pins his hopes on a book his aunt has given him. A warm story about childhood, belonging and the wishes we make, the film is headed by Altan Erkekli and Vildan Atasever, under the direction of Mete Akkuş.
