Azazil: The Knot is a 2014 Turkish horror film directed by Özgür Bakar, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Alper Kıvılcım. Running about 87 minutes, the film was seen by 72,133 viewers in Turkish cinemas during its opening week.
At the heart of the story is Sinem, a young woman living with her aunt and uncle in the house she inherited from her family. Her life turns upside down after she and Akın — her boyfriend whom she met at university — accidentally kill a dog while driving; from that day on, a string of terrifying events relentlessly follows her. The leading roles are played by Duygu Paracıkoğlu, Eylül Su Sapan, Dilşah Demir, Ozan Akbaba and Burak Sarımola.
