Amour de poche
Amour de poche (also known as Girl in His Pocket) is a 1957 French comedy-fantasy film directed by Pierre Kast. The screenplay by France Roche is based on Waldemar Kaempffert's short story The Diminishing Draft. The film follows a biologist, played by Jean Marais, who discovers a way to shrink and preserve matter through a petrification process. Using this invention, he is able to turn the young woman he loves into a pocket-sized statuette. Blending light science fiction with romantic comedy, the film runs about 82 minutes and also features Jean-Claude Brialy in its ensemble cast.
