Ali Kundilli

Ali Kundilli is a 2015 Turkish comedy film. Directed by Bülent İşbilen from a screenplay by Cem Gelinoğlu, who also plays the lead, the film was produced by Faruk Aksoy for Aksoy Film and released in February 2015.

The story follows Ali Kundilli, an inventor who rejects the idea of a steady, salaried job and keeps creating his own projects, convinced that one day he will be discovered. When Vedat, his closest childhood friend from the same neighborhood, gives in to the system, Ali is left on his own — and he faces similar demands before he can marry İlknur, the woman he loves. Everything changes at Vedat and Ayşe's henna night. The cast also includes Sami Aksu, Zeynep Aktuğ and Ezgi Tombul. The film's box-office success led to a sequel, Ali Kundilli 2, in 2016.
