Timur Yanyalı — Biography
Timur Yanyalı (born 26 August 1975 in Munich) is a Turkish former footballer. Born in Germany, he played as a defender.
His career ran from the mid-1990s into the early 2000s. Match records place him in Süper Lig line-ups for İstanbulspor, Adanaspor and Sivasspor, and with İstanbulspor he took part in European ties in the 1997 UEFA Intertoto Cup against opponents such as Östers IF and Olympique Lyon. He also represented Turkey at under-21 level.
During the 2000-01 season he was suspended from football following a doping test, an episode that became the most widely discussed turning point of his career.
