Tiago Çukur — Biography

Tiago Çukur is a striker, 1.96 m tall, who came up in the Netherlands and chose to represent Turkey. He passed through the Feyenoord and AZ academies and signed for Watford and Fenerbahçe; he holds Dutch and Turkish citizenship. He now plays for Fatih Karagümrük in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Born in Amsterdam, Çukur spent his youth at Feyenoord and AZ; he left AZ in summer 2020 and signed for Watford in England in January 2021. In July 2021 he went on loan to Doncaster Rovers, but when Doncaster used the option to end the loan early he returned to Watford in January 2022. He joined Fenerbahçe in July 2022 on a four-year contract and was loaned to Dender in Belgium in August 2022, then to Beveren, also in Belgium, in July 2023. When the Beveren loan was ended early in January 2024 he moved to Ümraniyespor. In July 2024 he returned to the Netherlands, signing a three-year contract with Eerste Divisie side Roda JC, and he scored on the opening day on 12 August as the team lost 6-1 to Jong AZ.

A youth international for Turkey, Çukur made his under-21 debut in summer 2021 and won his first senior cap on 14 June 2022. After Roda he returned to the Süper Lig with Fatih Karagümrük and spent the 2025-26 season there.
