Tayyip Talha Sanuç — Biography

Tayyip Talha Sanuç is a Turkish centre-back, 1.88 metres tall, who made his Süper Lig debut at just 17. At Beşiktaş he won a Turkish Cup and a Super Cup, and he played his first senior international for Turkey in November 2022. Since July 2026 he has been at Çaykur Rizespor.

He came through Karabükspor's youth system and made his professional debut on 2 June 2017 in a 3-2 Süper Lig win over Akhisar Belediyespor. In 2018 he moved to Adana Demirspor and won the second-tier title with the club in 2020-21. He signed for Beşiktaş in September 2022: he played his first match against Başakşehir, went the full 90 minutes of the 0-0 draw with Fenerbahçe and was named man of the match, and a week later his goal was the only one in the win over Giresunspor. With the Istanbul club he won the Turkish Cup in 2023-24 and the Super Cup in 2024. In September 2025 he was loaned to Gaziantep until the end of the season; from February he was a regular in the starting eleven. On 19 July 2026 he joined Rizespor.

His national-team path began with the youth sides: he played six matches for the under-18 and under-19 teams and won the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games with the Turkey under-23s. On 16 November 2022 he was called into the senior squad for the match against Scotland, and three days later he won his first senior cap in a 2-1 friendly win over the Czech Republic.
