Tayfun Cora — Biography
Tayfun Cora (born 5 December 1983 in Trabzon) is a retired Turkish footballer. Some sources place his birth more precisely in Vakfıkebir, a district of Trabzon. Standing 1.82 m, he usually played at right-back.
At club level he turned out for Trabzonspor, Kayserispor, Manisaspor and Karşıyaka, signing for the last of these in January 2013 and extending his contract the following summer. He also represented Turkey at under-19 and under-21 level and with the Turkey B side.
He kept his ties with Trabzonspor after retiring, and in 2026 his emotional comments about his former club were picked up by the regional press.
