Tanju Kayhan — Biography

Tanju Kayhan (born 22 July 1989 in Vienna) is a retired Austrian footballer of Turkish descent who played as a right-back and defender. He holds both Austrian and Turkish citizenship and represented Austria at under-21 level; he stands 1.72 m tall.

A product of the Vienna football scene, Kayhan played for Rapid Wien before moving to Turkey in 2011, joining Beşiktaş alongside Veli Kavlak and Burak Kaplan. In the years that followed he turned out for Kardemir Karabükspor, Mersin İdmanyurdu, Elazığspor, Göztepe and Eskişehirspor in Turkey, and for Sturm Graz and 1. Wiener Neustädter SC in Austria. He retired from playing after parting company with Eskişehirspor in 2020.
