Taner Gülleri — Biography

Born on 29 April 1976 in Adana, Taner Gülleri spent much of his playing career in Turkey's second-tier TFF 1. Lig, where he built a reputation as one of the league's most prolific forwards. He topped the division's scoring charts with 21 goals in the 2007-08 season, and the following year, after moving up to the Süper Lig, finished as runner-up in the top-scorer standings behind Milan Baroš.

After retiring as a player, Gülleri moved into coaching, most recently taking charge of Darıca 1934 Gençlerbirliği before leaving the post in April 2026. Earlier that year, Turkish media reported that he was among a large group of coaches and agents referred to the Turkish Football Federation's disciplinary board as part of a nationwide betting investigation.
