Tamer Güney — Biography
Mustafa Tamer Güney (6 January 1936, Bilecik - 22 August 2020, Istanbul) was a Turkish footballer and manager. As a player he lined up in midfield and is recorded as having appeared for Ankaragücü.
After hanging up his boots he moved into coaching and worked at established Turkish clubs, becoming best known as a former manager of Fenerbahçe. Long after leaving the touchline he continued to be quoted in the press on matters of the day in Turkish football.
He died in Istanbul on 22 August 2020 at the age of 84; his death was announced by the Turkish Football Federation and by clubs he had served.
