Soner Şentürk — Biography
Soner Şentürk was born on 7 August 1986 in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul and began his basketball career in the youth ranks of Darüşşafaka, playing for the club's senior team between 2002 and 2009. Standing 1.92 metres tall, the point guard moved to Türk Telekom for the 2009-2010 season, a step that marked the start of his broader professional career.
He subsequently played for Bornova Belediye and Erdemirspor before signing with Pınar Karşıyaka ahead of the 2012-2013 season, where he spent several seasons running the offence. In the 2014-15 TBL season he averaged roughly 1.5 points, 1.2 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game.
Şentürk parted ways with Pınar Karşıyaka in the summer of 2017, closing out a career spent largely with clubs across different regions of Turkey as a steady point guard.
