Soner Arıca — Biography

Soner Arıca (born 5 February, in Ordu province) is a Turkish pop musician, composer, record producer and stage actor. Sources differ on his year of birth, giving either 1961 or 1966, and German-language references place his birthplace specifically in Fatsa, a district on the Black Sea coast of Ordu. Educated at Marmara University, he built a career that extends beyond performing into songwriting and production, with a discography catalogued in international music databases.

He is a nephew of the celebrated actor Kadir İnanır: his mother, Altun Arıca, was İnanır's elder sister. In June 2026 Arıca lost his mother and, three days later, his uncle, and his public tributes to both were widely reported in the Turkish press. On 19 July 2026 he returned to the stage in Fatsa, where he broke down in tears while remembering them; the performance was described in coverage as the hardest concert of his career.
