Sinan Gümüş — Biography
Sinan Gümüş was born on 15 January 1994 in the German town of Pfullendorf to a family with roots in Rize, and he first drew attention scoring an extraordinary ninety goals in a single season for local side TSV Aach-Linz before moving into the youth ranks of his hometown club SC Pfullendorf and then, in 2011, joining Stuttgart for a training-compensation fee. At Stuttgart he played mostly for the under-19 and reserve sides, earned three caps for Germany's under-20 team, and once said in an interview that his greatest dream was to play in Turkey. Ahead of the 2014–15 season he chose Galatasaray over interest from Fenerbahçe, Çaykur Rizespor and Beşiktaş, scored on his competitive debut for the club and was visibly moved to tears, and went on to win eight trophies in yellow and red. He signed for Italy's Genoa in 2019 but made only three appearances there before being loaned out to Antalyaspor that same season. He joined Fenerbahçe in August 2020, and when that contract was terminated in February 2022 he returned to Antalyaspor. He later played for Eyüpspor as well, and by late 2025 he was without a club and searching for a new one.
