Simge Tertemiz — Biography

Born on 9 September 1988 in İskenderun, Hatay, Simge Tertemiz built a career in Turkey as a model, actress and television host. She studied Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at Anadolu University in Eskişehir, won an award at 2002's Best Model of Turkey pageant, and in 2004 took first place in that same contest, fourth at Best Model of the World and fifth at Miss Tourism. Between 1997 and 2009 she fronted the ATV magazine programme Özel Hat, and in 2009 she promoted an offshore powerboat race. She entered film with the role of Gamze in the 2007 movie Çılgın Dersane, appeared in its sequel Çılgın Dersane Kampta in 2008, and that same year acted in the series Türk Malı.

Voted the sexiest woman of the year in 2011 by readers of Boxer magazine, Tertemiz married her long-time partner Murat Kadıoğlu that same year and had a son with him; the couple divorced in 2014. In 2016 she took part in the contest İşte Benim Stilim Ünlüler, and has since remained in the public eye through presenting and runway work.
