Simge Fıstıkoğlu — Biography

Sports announcing was the starting point for Simge Fıstıkoğlu, a Turkish television presenter who has since moved to news and current-affairs programmes. A sociology graduate of Istanbul University, she has in recent years hosted a weekend programme on Sözcü TV.

She entered the profession in 2006 as a sports announcer at Habertürk and became sports editor in 2009. She moved to A Haber in 2011, returned to Habertürk in 2012 and prepared and presented 1 Gün, Gün Başlıyor and Burası Haftasonu. In 2013 she joined Show TV, where she led Yeni 1 Gün and the weekend main news bulletin. After September 2014 she worked as an announcer at several outlets, and from 2015 co-hosted the football talk show Topuklu Krampon on TRT Spor with Nazenin Tokuşoğlu.

At NTV, where she spent about five years, she presented Simge Fıstıkoğlu'yla Spor Akşamı and Günün İçinden, leaving the channel on 17 June 2020. In December 2020 she hosted Simge Fıstıkoğlu ile Haftasonu on Olay TV, but managed only two episodes because the channel ceased broadcasting. She returned to the screen in 2023 and appeared on Halk TV in 2024. She also makes broadcasts on her own YouTube channel. She married in 2018 and has two children.
