Simay Karaman — Biography
Safiye Simay Karaman is a Turkish basketball player born on 11 March 1991 in Istanbul. A forward by position, she played for clubs including BGD and Girne before joining Orduspor in the Women's Basketball Super League, and she has also represented Turkey's women's national team.
Beyond the court, she drew media attention for her relationship with Galatasaray team captain Göksenin Köksal, who proposed to her in 2017; the couple married in the summer of 2018.
