Sıla Özlem Önemli was born on August 14, 1999 in Ankara. She studied in the Theatre Department of the Anadolu University State Conservatory.

She had her first acting experience in 2018 with the daily series Beni Bırakma, broadcast on ATV, in which she played the character Zeynep.

Beni Bırakma, whose cast included names such as Emrah Akduman, Sude Doğar, Berkay Veli, Esengül Aypek and Çağla Çukurova, was the young actress's first series project of her career.
