Şeyma Erenli Kraemer is a midfielder of Turkish descent, born on 9 December 1988 in Melbourne, Australia. Holding dual Turkish-Australian identity, she completed her higher education at Indiana State University in the United States, where she also played on the university's soccer team.
Beyond outdoor football, Erenli has also competed in futsal, and over the course of her career she was capped for the Turkey women's national football team. In a 2019 interview, she described football as her greatest passion.
