Sertaç Şanlı — Biography
Sertaç Şanlı (born August 5, 1991, in Edirne) is a Turkish professional basketball player who stands 2.13 m (7'0") tall and plays center. He rose through the youth ranks of Efes Pilsen, Karşıyaka and Genç Telekom before signing a five-year contract with Galatasaray in 2010, with loan spells at Tofaş, Gaziantep Basketbol and Uşak Sportif.
After Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş, he joined Anadolu Efes in 2018, winning two Turkish League titles, two President's Cups and the 2021 EuroLeague title, before transferring to Barcelona the same year and adding the Spanish League and Cup. He returned to Turkey with Fenerbahçe in 2023, winning the Turkish Cup and League in 2023-24 and 2024-25 and a second EuroLeague crown in 2025. A summer 2025 move to Dubai Basketball was followed by a return to Beşiktaş for the second half of 2025-26, reaching three cup finals, before he left the club for a third, one-year stint at Fenerbahçe in July 2026.
Internationally, Şanlı has played at EuroBasket 2017, 2022 and 2025 (winning silver in the latter), the 2019 FIBA World Cup, and the FIBA Olympic qualifiers of 2021 and 2023.
