Serpil Tamur — Biography
Serpil Tamur (born May 19, 1944, in Rhodes) is a Turkish stage, film and television actress as well as a director. After graduating from the Ankara State Conservatory in 1963, she joined the State Theaters, where she has since appeared as a state artist in more than 40 productions and directed three of them herself.
Alongside her stage work, Tamur built a long screen career, becoming widely known for playing Nazife Anne in the Valley of the Wolves franchise and for her role as Haminne in the television series Bir Zamanlar Çukurova. Her decades-long career was honored again at the end of 2025, when she received an honorary award at the Esenler Film Festival.
