Serkan Kırıntılı — Biography

Serkan Kırıntılı is a Turkish former international goalkeeper born on 15 February 1985 in Adana (German Wikipedia specifies the Karataş district of Adana). He began playing amateur football at Adanaspor at fourteen, was promoted to the first team at seventeen, then moved to MKE Ankaragücü in the 2004-05 winter transfer window, where he played five seasons before terminating his contract unilaterally in August 2010.

Transferring to Fenerbahçe in August 2010, he won the 2010-11 Süper Lig title, two Turkish Cups, and reached a UEFA Europa League semi-final; he moved to Çaykur Rizespor in September 2013 and then signed a three-year deal with Konyaspor in 2015, where he won the Turkish Cup and Super Cup in 2017 and was named UEFA's Player of the Week in September 2016. He joined Alanyaspor in February 2021 and later Ümraniyespor. At youth level he reached the final of the 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Championship with Turkey, and he earned his first senior national team call-up in 2018 at age 33, debuting in a friendly win over Iran. His career also included two separate early red cards that made Turkish league history: one 13 seconds into a match against Yeni Malatyaspor in October 2019, and another in the 25th second of a match in September 2024.
