Serkan Atak — Biography
Serkan Atak (born 3 January 1984 in Kösching) is a German-Turkish former footballer and coach. Born in Kösching, Bavaria, he holds both Turkish and German citizenship and played as a midfielder. He was brought up in the youth ranks of Bayern Munich, appeared for the club's reserve side, and represented Turkey at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level.
He returned to Turkey in 2007 to join Gaziantep Oftaşspor, and went on to play for clubs including Antalyaspor, Boluspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Gaziantepspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor and Osmanlıspor. He signed for Denizlispor in 2015, joined third-tier Bugsaşspor in early 2017 and moved to Ankaraspor in 2018, before returning to Denizlispor in 2020.
After retiring as a player he moved into coaching, and as of December 2025 he was working as an assistant coach at MKE Ankaragücü.
