Serhat Sağat — Biography
Serhat Sağat (born 13 February 1983 in İzmit) is a Turkish former footballer who played in midfield. A product of Kocaelispor, he made more than a hundred appearances for the club and, according to English-language sources, belonged to the squad that took the TFF 1. Lig title in the 2007-08 season.
He also turned out for Sakaryaspor and Karşıyaka, signed for Kırklarelispor in February 2014 and moved to Hereke Yıldızspor in August 2015.
When he stopped playing is disputed. The English Wikipedia says he retired in 2016, yet the local Kocaeli press was still reporting on his place in the Hereke side, and on a three-week injury, in March 2019. Local papers had also reported in August 2017 that he was moving into coaching. On the weight of that coverage the 2016 date does not hold up.
