Serdar Bali

Serdar Bali — Biography

Serdar Bali was born on 21 July 1956 in Istanbul. A midfielder, he began his career at Denizlispor before rising to prominence with Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş, and also represented Turkey at both under-21 and full international level.

Bali was part of the Trabzonspor squad for four of the club's six league championships of that era, making him one of the most fondly remembered figures in the club's history. During his time at Beşiktaş, he was also part of the squad that ended a 15-year title drought by winning the championship in the 1981-82 season.

After retiring from playing, Bali went on to take on roles in club administration and football commentary, and he remains a prominent figure among former players within the Trabzonspor community.
