Serdal Güvenç — Biography
Serdal Güvenç is a Turkish footballer born on 20 May 1984 in Maaseik, Belgium. A Turkish citizen, he came through the national youth ranks and represented Turkey at U21 level. He took up the game as a defender in the youth system of Dutch club Fortuna Sittard, starting out alongside his younger brother, Emrullah Güvenç, at the same club.
Over the course of his career Güvenç turned out for several clubs within the Belgium-Netherlands football circuit, most recently playing for Verbroedering Geel-Meerhout. The parallel football paths of the two brothers made them a familiar pairing in that regional football scene.
