Şener Aşkaroğlu — Biography
Şener Aşkaroğlu was born on 24 April 1980 in Kütahya. He started out in the youth setup of Kütahya Termikspor and then moved to İnegölspor's academy. In 2000 he signed a professional contract with İnegölspor and joined the first team, making his official debut on 3 September 2000 against Maltepespor in the 3. Lig.
A year later he transferred to Süper Lig side Çaykur Rizespor. Despite his young age and a jump of three league levels, he settled in without difficulty, became a regular and stayed for five seasons. In 2006-07 he moved to Manisaspor, where he spent two seasons. He then had half-season spells at Konyaspor, Denizlispor and Diyarbakırspor: he left Konyaspor at the end of 2008 and signed for Denizlispor in January 2009. In the 2009-10 mid-season window he returned to Manisaspor.
In the summer of 2011-12 he transferred to 1. Lig club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor, where he finished his career.
