Şenay Akay — Biography

Şenay Akay Soner (born 16 August 1980 in Antalya) is a Turkish actress and former model. The daughter of a musician, she grew up in Antalya and studied at Akdeniz University.

Her screen career began in 1998 with the series "Sıcak Saatler", followed by "Yüzleşme" (1999) and "Bulutbey" (2002). In 2001 she won the Best Model of Turkey competition, which established her as a leading figure on the catwalk.

She appeared in the first season of the comedy series "Avrupa Yakası" in 2004, and later in the series "Kara Güneş" (2007) and "Kızım Nerede" (2010), the film "Pak Panter" (2010) and the television film "Makas" (2016), as well as in various television programmes. Her recorded acting credits become sparse after the mid-2010s.
