Şehmus Hazer — Biography
Şehmus Hazer is a Turkish professional basketball player, born on 15 February 1999 in Batman, who plays as a shooting guard (and occasionally point guard) and has represented Turkey's national team. Standing 1.91 m tall, he began his professional career in 2015 with Bandırma Kırmızı before moving to Bandırma Basketbol in 2017, where he gained experience in the Basketbol Süper Ligi, the Basketball Champions League and the Turkish Cup.
After that club folded due to financial difficulties, Hazer signed with Beşiktaş in 2020. He entered the 2021 NBA Draft but went unselected, and later that year transferred to Fenerbahçe for a fee of $800,000. With Fenerbahçe he won the Basketbol Süper Ligi title in the 2021-22 and 2023-24 seasons and the Turkish Cup in 2023-24. He then joined Bahçeşehir Koleji in 2024 before moving to Anadolu Efes in 2025.
Hazer parted ways with Anadolu Efes in June 2026 and, in July 2026, signed a two-year contract with Galatasaray.
