Sefo — Biography

Born Seyfullah Sağır in Samsun on 16 March 1998, Sefo graduated from Samsun Anadolu İmam Hatip High School; some reports trace his family's roots to the Araklı district of Trabzon. He launched his music career in March 2018 with the single "Yalan", moved into music full-time after the success of "Poz" (2019), and followed it with the singles "Up Down", "362" and "Derdi Ne".

His 2021 reggaeton-flavored single "Bilmem mi?" climbed to the top of the charts, giving him wide recognition along with a Golden Butterfly Award; he put out his debut studio album, "İmparator pt.1", in 2024. Playing consecutive dates across Konya, Sivas and Karaman in July 2026, he drew an enthusiastic response for his set at Konya's culture-road festival; around the same time, news broke that a brawl at another of his shows had left an audience member dead. That same stretch of July also brought word that he had popped the question to his partner, actress Çağla Boz, a story that quickly dominated celebrity coverage.
