Sedat Özden — Biography
Ali Sedat Özden (born 30 August 1953 in Bursa), known during his playing days by the nickname "Sedat 3" (Sedat III), is a Turkish former footballer and coach. A midfielder, he spent his entire professional career at Bursaspor, and his thirteen years and captaincy at the club made him one of its enduring legends.
With 336 top-flight appearances he is the player with the most first-division games in Bursaspor's history, and his 53 league goals place him third on the club's Süper Lig scoring list behind Okan Yılmaz (89) and Murat Sözkesen (57). He also represented Turkey at senior and under-21 level.
After retiring he worked as a coach and became a familiar football columnist and television pundit. In 2026 a book telling his story was published in Bursa and copies were handed out to schoolchildren.
