Seda Ocak — Biography

Seda Ocak is an athlete with an athletics background, best known in Turkey for her performance on the Survivor competition. A former national athlete and Balkan champion, she returned to the programme in different years, competing in 2024 on the blue team of Survivor All Star in 2024. Born in Bursa, she is the twin sister of the actress Sema Aydemir.

She took up sport at the age of 10, running the 100-metre hurdles. She joined the national team in that event and became a Balkan champion, then married and gave up active sport. After finishing Bursa Girls' High School she studied preschool teaching and sports management. She is reported to work as a sports consultant at Rumeli University.

On television she became known through Survivor, hosted by Acun Ilıcalı: her performance in the 2017-2018 season drew attention, she was on the Turkish squad in the 2019 Turkey-Greece edition and reached the semi-final. She competed again in the 2022 season and said a tearful goodbye to the contest in May. In 2024 she came back to the screen with the All Star season.
