Seda Eğridere — Biography

Seda Eğridere (born March 16, 1982, in Bursa) is a Turkish actress, screenwriter and director trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and Boğaziçi University. She first drew attention in 2012 by both starring in and co-writing the film Alina, the Turkish Assassin; director Bobby Roth later told Hürriyet that he agreed to shoot in Turkey largely because of the trust he placed in Eğridere.

In 2014 she stepped behind the camera for the first time with Seasons of War, a wartime drama following a multi-ethnic couple during the Siege of Sarajevo.
