Sarper David Mutaf — Biography
Sarper David Mutaf was born on 14 June 2002 in Istanbul. Standing 1.97 m tall, he plays as a shooting guard and small forward. He began his basketball career in Fenerbahçe's youth academy and later spent part of his education in the United States at the University of Minnesota.
He continued his professional career in 2021 with a move to Herbalife Gran Canaria in Spain, before joining Bursaspor, where Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi coaches voted him the league's most improved player. In June 2025 he transferred to Anadolu Efes, competing with the club in both the BSL and the EuroLeague.
At the national team level, Mutaf played for Turkey's under-20 squad in 2022 and was later included in the senior national team setup.
