Şanver Göymen — Biography
Şanver Göymen (born 22 January 1967 in Samsun) is a Turkish former international goalkeeper and football coach.
He is most closely associated with Altay, where he spent six seasons and came to be regarded as one of the club's legends. He won five caps for Turkey and was part of the squad for the 1996 European Championship, although he did not appear in a match at the tournament.
After retiring as a player he moved into coaching, working at clubs including Nevşehirspor and Torbalıspor, and Turkish media reported a spell in South Africa in 2011. His son Bora Göymen also became a professional goalkeeper and has named his father as his model.
