Sanlı Sarıalioğlu — Biography
Sanlı Sarıalioğlu (born 4 July 1945 in Istanbul) is a Turkish former international footballer, manager and sports columnist. He was educated at Kabataş Boys High School.
A one-club man, he spent his entire 14-year playing career at Beşiktaş and captained the side between 1968 and 1975. With 66 goals in 315 top-flight appearances, he ranks among the club's all-time leaders in both goals and league matches played. Between 1964 and 1971 he earned 21 caps for the Turkey national team, scoring twice.
After retiring he worked as a coach before turning to sports journalism and television punditry, writing a column in the sports section of the daily newspaper Yeni Şafak.
