Salih Šehović — Biography
Born in 1936 in Trebinje, in present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina, Salih Šehović was a forward who began his professional career at Dinamo Zagreb before settling in for the longest stretch of his playing days at FK Sarajevo.
Across 181 official matches for Sarajevo he scored 75 goals, a tally that ranks him as the club's third all-time top scorer, trailing only Dobrivoje Živkov and the legendary Asim Ferhatović.
After retiring from football he settled in Switzerland, where he died in Bern on 27 January 2022 at the age of 85.
